The switchgear was manufactured by ELEKTROTEAM Sp. z o.o. from Be\u0142chat\u00f3w and directed to research at the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The research included:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performing functional short-circuit tests<\/li>\n<li>Checking the degree of protection against external mechanical impacts (IK10)<\/li>\n<li>Checking the degree of protection provided by the housing<\/li>\n<li>Checking the electric shock protection and integrity of protective circuits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The above-mentioned studies were conducted in the \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network &#8211; Institute of Electrical Engineering, on the basis of a cooperation agreement. The main research was carried out by the former Assistant Professor of the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, Dr. Waldemar Chmielak and by an employee of IEl, Eng. Sylwester Mistewicz. Pictures 1 and 2 show the short-circuit system in IEl &#8211; short-circuit generators. Interns and apprentices (students) from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology helped with the work. The final research report was written by Dr. Tadeusz Daszczy\u0144ski.
