mysql Relational Database

Need a relational database, but your budget is tight? If so, you may want to consider "mysql", a GNU freeware database. I use "mysql" in conjunction with "php" to create web based database applications. Some of the applications I've found useful as a systems administrator include configuration management (installed hardware), contact information, system performance and problem tracking.

Both "mysql" and "php" are available on the Linux Toolbox for AIX CD. They can also be downloaded from the web at:
