Students from EU or EFTA countries have the same rights to apply for scholarships listed above as Polish students.
Foreign students who are not citizens of European Union countries or citizens of EFTA countries cannot apply for the scholarships listed above. Nevertheless, they can apply for the Rector prize for excellent results in studies or sports.
Foreign students are not entitled to obtain social scholarship and subsistence allowance.
To obtain a scholarship, first go to the website http://www.polibuda.info/stypendia (you will probably need some assistance from Polish speaking colleagues), download an application form and fill it in. Filled form should be applied to the Dean's office in the beginning of academic year. Remember: some faculties gave up the procedure of applying for the scientific scholarships. Nevertheless, to obtain the scholarship you need to sign in to a ranking of students of particular faculty.
Every student who does not receive the scholarship can appeal to a special commission. The commission can change the decision of Dean's office.
All the necessary information you can get in the Dean's office at your faculty.
